Lecturer’s Introduction

Dr. Hong Ma is currently an associate professor of economics in the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University. He graduated from Fudan University in 2002 with a B.A. (High Honors) in Economics. He received a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California at Davis in 2009, and won a Distinguished Teaching Assistant Award there. At Tsinghua, Dr. Ma teaches International Economics II for graduate students and Game Theory for undergraduates. He also organizes a seminar course on globalization for first year undergraduates. In 2009, he received a teaching excellence award.

Dr. Ma's research mainly focuses on international trade. His work has been published in the Economic Journal, the Macroeconomic Dynamics, the World Economy, and other journals.
