Brief introduction of prize-winning achievements:

1. Cai Hongbo, Ti hui ying, LeiCong, How does the Belt and Road Initiative Promote the Development of Trade in Ethnic Minority Areas? From the Perspective of Complex Network Management World, No. 10, 2021.

Abstract:

From the perspective of statistical comparison and complex network analysis, this paper analyzes the development level and changes of foreign trade in the eight ethnic provinces and regions under the background of the implementation of the "One Belt, One Road" Initiative. On this basis, through the division of communities, it makes an in-depth study of the development and changes of trade in ethnic regions and explains whether and how the "One Belt, One Road" Initiative plays its role. Different from previous studies, this paper uses weighted extremum optimization algorithm to discuss the status changes of foreign trade development of ethnic regions in the national inter-provincial trade network before and after the "Belt and Road" Initiative. The import and export trade data of 18 years from 2001 to 2018 and 6 years from 2013 to 2018 are selected respectively to calculate the foreign trade dependency and adjusted cosine similarity under two concepts and two time dimensions, and finally to depict the foreign trade of ethnic provinces and their similarity with other Chinese provinces by means of community division. It is found that the "Belt and Road" Initiative has obviously changed the development trend of trade in minority areas and their trade status in the whole country. It not only makes the total foreign trade in minority areas increase significantly, but also fully exploits the import and export capacity and potential of source products in minority areas. In particular, the growth and optimization of total foreign trade and foreign trade structure of the eight ethnic minority provinces are very significant. Compared with other provinces with similar foreign trade structure and foreign trade development trend, it verifies the conclusion that the implementation of the "Belt and Road" Initiative promotes the development of trade in ethnic minority areas.

2. Wei Hao, Expanding Imports and China's Economic Growth, May 2021, People's Publishing House.

Content introduction: Actively expanding import trade is of extremely important strategic significance for making overall use of both domestic and foreign markets and resources, meeting the people's demand for consumption upgrading, accelerating scientific and technological progress and innovation, promoting the quality improvement of domestic supply system, and promoting high-quality economic development. Since 2012, the CPC Central Committee and The State Council have issued and implemented a series of reports and guidelines on the strategy of expanding import trade. Actively expanding import has become a major decision made by the CPC Central Committee to promote a new round of high-level opening up. For a long time, academic circles have paid far less attention to the "relationship between import and economic growth" than to the "relationship between export and economic growth", and lack of systematic research on the impact of import on economic growth. Based on this, this monograph aims to clarify the basic situation of China's import growth, systematically study the influencing factors of China's import, analyze the impact of import trade on China's domestic and foreign economy, and then further provide ideas and specific suggestions for the formulation, adjustment and implementation of active import expansion policies.
