Time :2023-06-26

In order to further improve the health care awareness of the majority of teachers and establish the health concept of disease prevention rather than treatment, from June 12 to 16, the School Labor Union invited professional therapists from the Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine to BNUBS to carry out a one-week free diagnosis activity.

In the free clinic, the therapists carefully felt the pulse and diagnosed the disease for the teachers. According to the needs of common diseases such as cervical spondylosis, lumbar spine disease, sciatic nerve pain, they also gave physical therapy, including cupping, scraping and electronic acupuncture treatment, and gave follow-up diagnosis and treatment suggestions. In order to further help the staff to clarify the cause of illness and conditioning the body, the therapists also popularized daily health knowledge from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine physiotherapy and health care for everyone, taught health exercise, cervical spondylosis and other office exercise methods, and presented the tendon bar, stroke board and other physiotherapy equipment for the majority of teachers to promote the concept of traditional Chinese medicine health.

The free diagnosis activity has been actively participated in and unanimously praised by the faculty and staff, and everyone said that the free diagnosis activity is conducive to understanding their physical conditions, eliminating health hazards, strengthening exercise in the future, improving bad habits, greeting work with a positive and healthy mental outlook, and creating greater value on the post. The Chinese Medicine Physiotherapy Association has been established to continue to provide Chinese medicine physiotherapy health services for the faculty and staff.
