Professor Wei Hao‘s Project Was Approved as A Major Project of The National Social Science Fund of China

Recently, the list of major projects approved by the National Social Science Fund of China to study and interpret the spirit of the Party's 20th Congress was officially announced. Among the 135 major projects of the National Social Science Fund of China, 5 were approved by Beijing Normal University, ranking third in the country with Fudan University and Beijing Institute of Technology.

The project designed by Professor Wei Hao of BNUBS was approved, which is his second time to be approved by the National Social Science Fund of China.

Our School has always adhered to the guidance of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a new era, carried out in-depth study and implementation of the Party's 20 National Congress spirit, and in-depth implementation of the Party Central Committee's strategic plan for accelerating the construction of philosophy and social sciences with Chinese characteristics. Wei Hao, Professor and doctoral supervisor of BNUBS, Director of the Department of International Economics and Trade, Director of the National Import Research Center, Chief expert of major projects of the National Social Science Foundation. He is also selected as the national "10,000 people Plan" talent project and is the Associate Secretary-general of China Society of World Economics. He is the Doctor of Economics of Nanjing University and visiting scholar of Department of Economics, Columbia University. His research interests include international trade and world economy. He has published more than 200 academic papers in CSSCI/SSCI journals, more than 40 papers have been reprinted by Renmin University Photocopying Materials and China Social Science Abstracts. He has published a large number of signed articles and series of opinions in People's Daily, Guangming Daily, Economic Daily and other media. He has published 5 monographs and 9 textbooks, and edited the China Import Development Report. He has presided over two projects of the National Social Science Foundation, two surface projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, National Social Science Foundation projects, three Humanities and Social Science Fund projects of the Ministry of Education, two Beijing Social Science Fund projects, and dozens of projects entrusted by the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee, the Ministry of Commerce, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the National Bureau of Statistics, and national high-end think tanks, etc. He has provided dozens of research reports for national ministries and commissions. His personal monograph was selected into the National Library of Philosophy and Social Sciences.
