Chen Yueyuan, Lecturer, Department of Economics

She received her Ph.D. from the School of Economics, School of Social Sciences, Tsinghua University, and her undergraduate degree from the School of Mathematical Sciences, Nankai University. Her research direction is Economic History and History of Economic Thought, focusing on property rights, land, grass-roots governance and education economy since Ming and Qing Dynasties. In recent years, she has published many papers in authoritative and professional journals of economics, sociology and history, such as Economics (quarterly), Society, and Research on Chinese Economic History, and two papers have been reprinted by Renmin University Photocopying Newspaper Materials · Economic History. She has won honors such as Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation of Tsinghua University and National Scholarship for Outstanding Doctoral Graduates and Graduate Students of Tsinghua University.
