Recently, the selection results of "Beijing Excellent Teacher" and "Beijing Excellent Educator" in 2022 were announced, and Professor Zhao Chunming of BNUBS was awarded as "Beijing Excellent Teacher".

The selection and recognition of "Beijing Excellent Teachers" and "Beijing Excellent Educators" is carried out every three years or so, jointly organized by Beijing Municipal Education Working Committee, Beijing Municipal Education Commission, Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Beijing Municipal Finance Bureau and Beijing Municipal Education Union. The aim is to commend the outstanding teachers who have made outstanding achievements in education, to form a good social atmosphere of respecting teachers and valuing education, and to further encourage the staff to stick to their original aspiration of building moral education and educating people, to do a good job in education that the people are satisfied with, and to train new people to take on the great responsibility of national rejuvenation.
