School of Continuing Education and Teacher Training Visited BNUBS

On the morning of May 20th, associate dean of School of Continuing Education and Teacher Training (SCETT) Zhang Li, director of Training Center for Preschool Education Yu Benyun, director of Center for Enterprise Lv Wenqian, and director of External Cooperation Department Sun Hui visited BNUBS to talk over about training programs. The associate dean Cai Hongbo received them. Li Jingya from the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation and Han Wei from the Training Center accompanied the meeting.

 

The associate dean Cai Hongbo first welcomed associate dean Zhang Li and her delegation, and affirmed the progress made in the preliminary coordination of the programs. At the same time, he introduced the demands and working background of BNUBS engaged in social service, as well as the current situation of training programs. In particular, he pointed out that social service and creating income are important indicators for EQUIS international accreditation, and that the annual report and ongoing AACSB international accreditation continue to focus on the contribution of training programs.

 

The associate dean Zhang Li first praised the high attention to the social service and training programs of BNUBS. She said BNUBS is the first to carry out the cooperation among the schools and departments within BNU. Since the signing of the memorandum of understanding, SCETT has been working with BNUBS to explore cooperation models and specific programms. She also made an in-depth analysis of the current Taiwan Strong Education Nursery Education Training Program, and made suggestions on the existing plan. Based on the current cooperation, Zhang proposed executive overseas research program in the future.

 

Afterwards, Yu Benyun, Lv Wenqian and Sun Hui respectively introduced the training programs they are in charge of, including the Nursery Education Program, the Jilin Tobacco Company Program and the China State Construction Communications Program. The two sides held in-depth discussions on the details of programs approvals, design and implementation.
