Hwy-chang Moon, honorary professor of Seoul National University and former Dean of Graduate School of International Studies, aSSIST chair professor, is an internationally renowned scholar in the field of overseas investment and international competitiveness. Prof. Moon specializes in international competitiveness, global business strategy, investment, cross-cultural management, Korean (and Asian) business and economics, and creating common value. He has developed several academic theories, including the theory of investment imbalances, the double diamond model of global competitiveness, and the ABCD model of strategy at all levels including countries, industries, firms and individuals/leadership. Prof. Moon has won the Academic Research Award of Seoul National University and served as an overseas investment advisor to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and Honorary Ambassador of Foreign Investment Promotion for Korea.
