Students from Italy’s University of Macerata Finished Their Short-Term Exchange Program at BNU

On the afternoon of March 29, 2019, the graduation ceremony of the short-term study program in China of Macerata University in Italy came to a successful conclusion at Beijing Normal University. Fourteen Italian students of this project and four student volunteers of our college, as well as teachers and staff of the International cooperation and Exchange Office attended the graduation ceremony.

The Office prepared a warm-up video for the students, and reviewed the two weeks' study and life in Beijing Normal University with the students, after which the graduation ceremony began.

First of all, the teacher Li Jingya fully acknowledged the students' achievements of learning and in various aspects in the past two weeks, and also expressed her gratitude to the teachers and students who worked hard for this project. Then, four representative students shared their feelings of the project in fluent Chinese. By virtue of the business and economic course provided by the college of Business, the traditional Chinese culture experience (paper cutting, calligraphy, Chinese painting), business Chinese and business visits (Quanjude Roast Duck restaurant, Beijing College Students Innovation park), etc., the students said they have known more 

 

about the China's current economic and business environment and extensive and profound Chinese traditional culture and have also developed an interest in entrepreneurial projects.In the end, the teacher Mrs. Xie Jia issued a certificate for each student and volunteer, and wished them a better future.

Macerata University of Italy is one of the important overseas cooperative universities of our university. In 2011, it established a Confucius institute, on which it has carried out in-depth cooperation in various fields. Since 2012, our college and the University of Macerata have carried out exchanges and cooperation in many aspects such as exchange visits between teachers and students and international scientific research cooperation.
