Abstract: This presentation will emphasize how MBA students can develop the “perfect pitch” for their professional brand. Topics will include the creation of a personal brand promise and how to leverage social media tools to communicate professional brand points.
About the speaker: Dr. Edmiston is an Associate Professor of Management and Marketing at Saint Vincent College and is the recipient of several national teaching awards (e.g., Marketing Management Association Teaching Innovation Award and the American Marketing Association Pittsburgh Distinguished Educator Award). Her research fields include Internet Marketing, Sales Force Management, Marketing Management, and Organization Development. She earned an MBA at Columbia University and a Doctor of Management degree from University of Maryland. Dr. Edmiston is an alumnae of the international exchange programme at London Business School. Dr. Dawn Edmiston has 20 years of marketing experience in the consulting, education and media sectors, including IBM Business Consulting Services, PricewaterhouseCoopers Management Consulting Services, and Discovery Communications (to include the Discovery Channel, TLC, Travel Channel, Animal Planet and Discovery Channel Online).
