Badminton Together, Happiness Forever
We are so excited to go back to campus to relive a school life. The plants and buildings look so adorable and the campus activities are so attractive and enthusiastic, offering us a chance to rejuvenate. However, my busy friends, do you want a moment for relaxation and enjoyment after intense work and study? How many campus activities have you attended?

Actually, many students of Grade 2015 have actively participated various sports activities, especially badminton, since entering college. By playing badminton, they have not only improved their emotional communication with schoolmates, but also exercised themselves both mentally and physically. So far, the “Badminton Together” club established by Zhong Lei has already attracted nearly 100 members, offering them a place for entertainment in their busy working and learning.

On November 21, the “2015 BNU MBA Friendly Badminton Game” co-hosted by P2 Class and P4 Class kicked off in QiuJiduan Stadium. Over 50 competitors and volunteers attended the game. In addition, we are greatly honored to invite three badminton masters (Yang Dong, Wang Digong, and Xu Li)from Grade 2011 and Grade 2012 for guidance, they are all excellent badminton players heavily favored by previous schoolmates and they used tolead the BNU MBA team to obtain glorious achievements in competitions organized by University Union. Their presence has made the gameeven more attractive and more competitive.

The game has been divided into three parts, which are elimination match, semifinals, and finals. The elimination match adopted “best of three sets” and the single team left behind can directly go to the next round. 12 teams were paired up for competition and 6 teams ultimately reached the next round.

The teams in semifinals were relatively stronger, making the match more interesting and more intense. Teams led by three masters showed greater advantage at this moment as they have better adjustment in strategy and skill and therefore made the game more exciting to watch.

The finals started in great anticipation of everyone. The team led by Yang Dong and the team led by Wang Digong finally clashed after defeating other teams. The atmosphere there was really intense, both sides matched each other in strength with their scores rising alternately. Such a wonderful game evoked the cheers of the audience from time to time.

However, a game will always end no matter how exciting it is. As Huang Chudai accidentally twisted the ankle, the final game ended with Yang Dong & Su Junfang Team winning the champion. The second prize went to Wang Digong and Huang Chudai. Xu Li and Chen Rongjin won the third prize. Zhong Lei and Chen Wenwen won the fourth prize.

In the evening of 21, it was raining and really cold outside the stadium, but inside the stadium, a hot game was on show. All players tried their best to play and the volunteers also selflessly devoted themselves into offering services for everyone. When the players competed hotly in the field, the volunteers were shivering due to the physical inactivity. Even so, they still carefully recorded every moment of the game. It was such an emotional moment!

The game has attracted everyone. Without class, age and gender, there were only teammates, schoolmates and teams. There was no worry or depression but passion of youth, understanding, tolerance, support, and devotion.

The game has come to an end, but its influence on the two classes, or even the overall students of Grade 2015, still lingers. Badminton is a sport full of fun, and is even more joyful and meaningful while playing with schoolmates. It is also a team with rich love and positive effects. In here, MBA unites us tightly by badminton.
