“Business Model Innovation” Pre-Training Offers Support to the BNU MBA Entrepreneurship Competition
At 18:00 on August 22nd, the second pre-competition training of the first BNU MBA Entrepreneurship Competition “Cross-border Entrepreneurship” was held in Room 9406, JingShi Building. This activity was hosted by BNU Business School and undertaken by both the MBA Education Center and the BNU MBA Student Union, aiming to offer financing opportunities to entrepreneurs and help to fufill their dreams.

 

Guests for the training lecture were Mr. Wang Yujie, who has over-10-years’ experience of investment and capital operation, and the founder of the Sesame Financing Company, Mr. Jin Wei.

Mr. Wang Yujie now works for a large state-owned military enterprise. He is a venture capitalist and joint controller of many well-known firms. Also, he is a strategic partner of a business incubation base, with over-10-years’ experience of investment and capital operation. During the lecture, Mr. Wang shared business strategies and explained what is business dream, how to realize it and the decisive factors for business success through a special questionnaire. Furthermore, he gave some advice and suggestions to entrepreneurs about how to become industry leaders.

 

Lecture by Mr. Wang Yujie

The second guest is the founder of the Sesame Financing Company, Mr. Jin Wei. The company is positioned as an online financial community for MBA social contact. He shared five entrepreneurial experiences of his and his personal thoughts about entrepreneurship. Effective ways of starting a business from scratch were given intelligibly, from aspects of looking for people, funds and direction. In order to obtain success, Mr. Wang encouraged all to exert efforts and keep the passion and confidence for the entrepreneurship.

 

Lecture by Mr. Jin Wei

 

Mr. Chen Jie, the special judge of the competition was invited as well. Mr. Chen is a researcher from the counsellor office of the headquarter of the People’s Bank of China, post-doctor of the Institute of Financial Research of the People’s Bank of China and the off campus tutor for BNU MBA. He shared ideas about entrepreneurship from the perspectives of social orientation and social choice. In addition, he expressed his willingness to support the participators in terms of policy analyzation and financing directions.

In the Q&A section, participants asked questions about difficulties they encountered or urgent problems that they face. Based on the actual situations, the guests replied to the questions using their own experience and expertise. They not only answered the questions, but also motivated entrepreneurs and those who want to set up their own businesses.
