At the University of Agder, you will study with students from all over the world. In 2009, we received over 200 international students from over 30 different countries. UiA is Norway’s fifth largest educational institution with campuses in Kristiansand and Grimstad. These are two of Norway’s most popular summer destinations, but when winter comes you can head to the mountains. Several ski resorts are nearby.

 

 

You can apply directly online, but we will not process your application until we have received an ECTS Learning Agreement and a transcript of records approved by your university. The application deadlines are 1 May for autumn entry and 15 October for spring entry. Please note that in order for you to participate actively in our courses and pass the exams it is necessary for you to have good knowledge of English.

 

The online application is very easy, requires no username or password, and can be used directly by the students. However, this is just step one in the application process. We also require a transcript of records and a learning agreement signed by your institution.

We would like to draw special attention to Comparative Educational Studies, a one-semester programme for teacher education students, and Outdoor Education and Nature Guiding, a one-semester programme for physical education students.
