Associate Dean Cai Hongbo first thanked the Economic and Trade Cooperation of African Youth (China Representative Office) for its intention to cooperate with our BNUBS, and introduced the basic situation of our School and the focus of recent international exchange work. Secretary-General Dennis introduced the background of the establishment of The Economic and Trade Cooperation of African Youthand its main work direction. The two sides then exchanged views and discussed cooperation in holding international academic conferences, training for African entrepreneurs and scholarship programs for young African students. 

 

Economic and Trade Cooperation of African Youth (ETCAY) was established in Chengdu on 25th June, 2018 and officially registered as a non-governmental organization in Liberia on 6th October, 2018. It is headquartered in Monrovia, capital of Liberia. ETCAY aims to improve the standard of living and promote the development of African countries through cooperation in agriculture, infrastructure development, sports and technology transfer. Since its inception in 2018, ETCAY has carried out various activities, including the establishment of advisory boards, the appointment of Global Community Ambassadors, the establishment of leadership mechanisms at all levels, and participation in various conferences. At the same time, It has also made institutional presentations to the African Union, the European Union, the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and Chinese Ambassador in Africa.
