Our Korean Professor Hwy-chang Moon Presided Over the World’s Universities With Real Impact

At 9:00 Pm on June 10th, the World's Universities with Real Impact 2021 (WURI) was launched in Switzerland and South Korea, with the participation of more than 160 scholars from 30 Universities worldwide in an online conference. This year’s WURI recognized universities' contribution to preparing the workforce for the future in the context of meeting the growing needs of entrepreneurs in today's society.

The latest list of the Global Top100 universities was published, along with a ranking of the top 50 universities based on five individual criteria. There are four institutions in Chinese mainland in the top 50, with Tsinghua University at 14th, Peking University at 28th, Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business at 33th and Beijing Normal University at 36th.

Among the top 50 universities in the world, in the individual assessment of "student exchange and openness", Peking University ranks 3rd, followed by Beijing Normal University at 14th and University of International Business and Economics at 29th.

Based on the previous four dimensions of "industrial application, entrepreneurship, ethical values, student exchange and openness", a new index dimension, the "crisis management" was added this year in order to better observe how universities actively fulfill their missions in the context of COVID-19.
