Professor Kase Kimio, Former President of International University of Japan, Joins BNU

    Recently, Kase Kimio, former president of International University of Japan and internationally renowned strategic management scholar, joins BNUBS. Born in March, 1949 in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, Professor Kase Kimio holds a Ph.D. from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom and has worked for the Inter-American Development Bank and universities and research institutions in many countries for many years. He once served as a guest professor in IESE, ESADE, IE and other top European business schools and currently, he lives in Spain.
    It is worth mentioning that he once served as the president of the International University of Japan (IUJ). Established in 1982, the university is the first postgraduate school in Japan and its business school is the first American style business school created with the assistance of Dartmouth College and Tuck School of Business of America. According to QS and the British Economist and other authoritative organizations, its MBA program ranks first in Japan and among top five in Asia for a long time. Professor Kase Kimio began his employment in BNUBS in March 2018 and he will spend 6 months in the school each year. He will assist the BNUBS and relevant disciplines to cooperate with partners in Japan and the world, guide the construction of an international case study center and International MBA programs and provide important consultations for AACSB and EQUIS recertification.
